Pharmacological Properties

Chlortetracycline is a Bacteriostatic antibiotic with a vary broad spectrum. It is diffuses very rabidly in the body and is eliminated slowly.

Poultry, Calves and foals.

Indications for use:

Poultry: Infection which is caused by gram positive and gram negative bacteria (Staphylococcus ,Streptococcus ,Clorstridia , Haemophilus , Klebsiella , E.coli, Pasteurella, Salmonella ) and in Mycoplasma infection (CRD),Avian spirochete , Actinobacillosis and in case of Chlamydiosis .

None

Posology and Method of Administration

Poultry: 1-2 g per 2litres of drinking water daily for 5 days.
As feed premix: 1-2 kg per ton of feed daily for 5 days.
Calves and foals: 5-10 mg/Chlortetracycline kg b.w every 8 hours for 4-5 days.

Withdrawal Periods

Animals and birds should not be slaughtered within 5 days from the last treatment.

Special Precautions for Storage

Store in a dark and dry place, below 25°C.
