Pharmacological Properties

Ciprofloxacin is a new, third generation quinolone derivative, antibacterial drug which has a high efficacy against all common pathogens of Poultry (bacteria and mycoplasma as well as rickettsia and chlamydia).

Poultry, Lambs, Kids and calves.

Indications for use:

Ciprodad 2.5% is the drug of choice for treatment of all types of bacterial infections caused by gram-positive and gram negative organisms (Staphylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, E.Coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Klebsiella and Salmonella), as well as Mycoplasma (CRD), Rickettsia and Chlamydia.

Posology and Method of Administration:

Poultry: 1ml per 0.5 liter of drinking water daily for 3 - 5 days.
Lambs, Kids and calves: 5 - 10 mg Ciprofloxacin per 1 kg body weight for 5 days.

Withdrawal Periods
Animals and birds should not be slaughtered within 5 days from the last treatment.

Special Precautions for Storage
Store in a dark and dry place, below 25°C
