Composition: Each can 150 g contains:
Lincomycin (as hydrochloride) 33.3 g
Spectinomycin (as sulphate) 66.7 g
Properties:
Lincomycin is effective against most of the common gram positive bacteria. Spectinomycin It has in vivo and in vitro activity against many gram positive, gram negative bacteria and Mycoplasma.
Indications for use: For increase in rate of body weight gain, for prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory disease, air saculitis, CCRD, Omphilitis and E.coli infection in poultry.
Dosage:
Chicken: For gain weight: 50 mg of Dad-Lincospect powder /kg b.w. per day during first 5-7 days of life.
Prevention: 150 mg of Dad-Lincospect powder / kg b.w. per day for first 3-5 days of life then 50 mg/kg b.w. per day for 1-2 days at about 4 weeks of age or at time of vaccination.
Treatment: 1.5 g / 2 liter for 3 days (begin treatment at the first signs of disease).
Turkeys: Prevention and treatment: 150 mg of Dad-Lincospect powder /kg b.w. for first 3-5 days of life.
Medicated water must be consumed within 12-24 hours
Contra-indications: Do not allow other to chicken and turkey access to medicate drinking water
Withdrawal Periods: Birds should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 2 days from the last treatment.
Store in dry place below 30°C.
