COMPOSITION : Each 1 ml contains:
Doxycycline HCl 200 mg
Properities:
DOXYDAD 20% Solution is a broad spectrum antibiotic effective against g+ve and g-ve bacteria,clamydia, Rickettsia, Mycoplasma, protozoa and large viruses.
Indications:
DOXYDAD 20% Solution is indicated for prevention and treatment of:
Poultry: CRD,CCRD,Air sacculitis, sinusitis synovitis, Colibacillosis, salmonellosis, Fowl coryza, Fowl cholera,Omphalitis , Yolk sac infection and staphylococcosis.
Calves: Bacterial enteritis , pneumonia, broncho pneumonia, Anthrax, Brucellosis.DOXYDAD 20% Solution is recommended to control the effect of stress due to vaccination and environmental factors.
Dosage:
Poultry: 1 ml DOXYDAD 20% Solution per 2 litres of drinking water daily for 3 - 5 days.
Young ruminants and other animals:
0.5 ml DOXYDAD 20% Solution per 10 kg b. w. for 3 - 5 days daily.
(10 mg Doxycycline per 1 kg b. w. for 3 - 5 days)daily .
Contraindication:
- Not to be given for layers hen.
- Not to be given in animals suffer from hepatic disturbance
Side effects:
Over dosage may cause gastro-intestinal disturbances and diarrhea.
Withdrawal time : Stop treatment 7 days before slaughtering.
Store in dry place, under 30˚C Dont’t refrigerate.
