Composition : Each 1 g contains:

flumequine 100 mg/g

colistin as sulphate 500 000 IU/g

Properties: Flumequine is the first generation of quinolone group act as bactericidal against mainly gram negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E.coli, Haemophilus,Pasteurella and Salmonella Spp..Colistin a polymyxin narrow spectrum antibiotic with bactericidal activity against gram negative bacteria e.g. E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp , Haemophilus spp , Pasteurlla spp , Brucella spp , Enterobacter aerogenes and Campylobacter. The combination of Flumequine & Colistin has an additive action .
Indications:
Flumecol is used for prevention and treatment of digestive and respiratory infections due to gram-negative micro-organisms particularly: E.coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Haemophillus.
Traget Species: Poultry, calves, foals, kids, lambs and rabbits.
Dosage:
Poultry: 1 g per 1-2 liters of drinking water daily for 3 - 5 days.
Calves, foals, kids, lambs and rabbits:
1 g per 6-8 kg of body weight twice daily for 5-7 days.
Contraindication and warning:
- Not to be used for layer producing egg human consumption.
- Don’t use with nitrofurans, Trimethoprim and copper sulphate compoued.
Withdrawal time:
- Meat (Calves, kids, lambs and rabbits): 8 days.
- Meat of poultry: 3 days.
