Pharmacological Properties
Tylosin is an antibiotic substance produced by a strain of streptomyces fradiae an actinomycete. Tylosin has an antibacterial spectrum that is essentially gram-positive; it is also active against certain spirochetes, large viruses and certain gram-negative micro-organisms (not including coliforms). It is also active against certain mycoplasma species.

Indications for use:
Tylodad 100 has a particular action against Mycoplasma gallisepticum , which is implicated in the chronic respiratory disease (CRD) complex in chickens and infectious sinusitis in turkeys.
Tylosin has antibacterial spectrum that is essentially against gram –positive bacteria, and also active against certain spirochetes and large viruses and certain gram – negative bacteria.
Posology and Method of Administration
Poultry : 50 -100 mg / 1 kg b.w daily for 5 days.
(1g per 2 liters of drinking water daily for 5 days)
Withdrawal Periods
Chicken: 1 day , Turkey: 5 days
