"Enteric Defense. Fast Relief."
Composition
Each 1 g contains:
Sulphaguanidine – 1000 mg.
Pharmacological Properties
Sulphaguanidine is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antimicrobial that also acts against Toxoplasma and other protozoa. As an enteric sulfonamide, it is poorly absorbed from the intestine, allowing it to maintain high concentrations in the intestinal lumen, where its action is most needed.
It effectively inhibits both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Staphylococci, Enterobacteria, and Pasteurellae.
