Injectable Solution for I.M or S.C

Composition: Each 1 ml contains:

• product name: dad- lincospect
• generic name:lincomycin as hydrochloride 50 mg/ml
  spectinomycin as sulphate 100 mg/ml
• dosage form: injection
• packaging: 100 ml

Properties:
Lincomycin is produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis and is chemically distinct from all other clinically available antibiotics. It is readily soluble in water, it is effective in vitro against most of the common gram positive bacteria.
It is also effective against cretin Mycoplasma, Spirochete and anaerobic organism.
Spectinomycin is produce by Streptomyces flavopersicus. Spectinomycin free base is weakly basic and readily soluble in water. It has in vivo and in vitro activity against many gram positive, gram negative and Mycoplasma organism but, like Lincomycin is inactive against yeasts, molds and viruses.

Indications:
DAD-LINCOSPECT injection a sterile solution is indicated for treatment of infections in non ruminating calves, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, dogs and cats caused by germs sensitive to the action of Lincomycin and /or Spectinomycin.
DAD-LINCOSPECT injection is indicated for treatment of pneumoenteritis of calves, contagious foot rot and respiratory infections caused by mycoplasma or bacterial organism in sheep and goats.
DAD-LINCOSPECT injection is indicated in cases of CRD or CCRD, fowl cholera, staphylococcal infection.
DAD-LINCOSPECT injection is indicated for treatment of respiratory infections including (rhinotracheitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, skin infections (pyogenic dermatitis, postural dermatitis, abscesses) urrogenital tract infections (cystitis, metritis) also gastroenteritis, infected fight wounds and secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases in sheep, goats, dogs and cats.

Administration and Dosage:
Non ruminating calves: 1 ml/ 10 kg BW intramuscular twice daily in the first day then once daily for 2-4 days.
Sheep and goats: 1ml/10 kg bw intramuscular once daily for 3 days.
Chickens and turkeys: 0.1 ml/ 0.5 kg bw subcutaneous once daily for 3 consecutive days or inject once and follow with DAD-LINCOSPECT injection for 3-5 days.
Dogs & cats: 1 ml/ 5 kg of b.w. in tramuscular May be repeated at 12 or 24 hours intervals for up to 21 days.

Caution: *May cause pain on injection site.
*Loss of appetite, decrease in milk production may observed in sheep and goats.
*It is contraindicated in case of anaesthetized animals.

Withdrawal time: Meats: 14 days, milk: 2 days.

Packing: Glass vial 100 ml in cartoon box.

Storage: Store in a dry place below 30°C, don't refrigerate.
