Qualitative and Quantitative Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
Procaine penicillin 200 mg
Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate 250 mg

Pharmacological Properties
The combination of penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin is especially useful of penicillin and dihydrostreptomycin is especially useful in the treatment of mixed infections involving both gram –positive and gram –negative organisms.

Indications for use:
DAD-PENSTREP injection is indicated for use in cattle, horses, and sheep for the treatment of infections caused by , or associated with organisms sensitive to Penicillin and / or Streptomycin including : Arcanobacterium pyogenes , Klebsilla Pneumonia , Listeria spp , Mannheimia Haemolytica , Pasteurella Multocida ,Staphylococcus spp , Streptococcus spp and Salmonella spp .
DAD-PENSTREP injection will therefore be effective in the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms including : respiratory tract infections including pneumonia , listeriosis ,meningitis , septicaemia ,toxaemia associated with mastitis ,urogenital tract infections ,enteritis associated with salmonella spp ,Salmonellosis , and the control of secondary bacterial invaders in diseases of primary viral origin .
Posology and Method of Administration
Cattle, horses& sheep: 1 ml DAD-PENSTREPT injection per 25 kg of body weight once daily by deep intramuscular injection for up to three consecutive days( shake well before use ) (8 mg procaine penicillin and 10 mg dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate per kg of body weight achieved)The maximum dose volume administered at one site should not exceed 15 ml for horses, 6 ml for cattle and 3 ml for sheep (Shake well before use.)
Withdrawal Periods
Milk and meat must not be used for human consumption during treatment.
Sheep: Milk: 60 hours. Cattle: Milk: 60 hours
Meat: 31 days. Meat: 23 days

Store in dry place below 30°C, don’t refrigerate.
