Composition: Each 1 ml contains :

• generic name: ivermectin 10 mg/ml

Properties:

Ivermectin is a very potent broad spectrum ectoparasiticid and nematocide from avermectins isolated from fermentation of Streptomyces avermitilis .
Indication:
IVODAD 1% is indicated for treatment and control of all major gastrointestinal round worm, lung worm nematodes in cattle, goat, sheep and camels as : Ostertagia spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Strongyloides, Bunostomum spp, Nematodirus spp, Dictyocaulus spp, Haemonchus spp, Trichuris spp , Oseophagostomum spp,Chabertia ovina, etc....Arthropod parasites including grubs(Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma Lineatum, Oestrus ovis) and ectoparasites as mange mites, sucking lice, ticks, eye worms and screw worms fly, etc....
Target species: Cattle, camels, sheep & goats.
Dosage:
IVODAD 1% should be given as single dose only by S/C injection.
Cattle, camels, sheep and goats: :1 ml per 50 Kg of body weight ( 200 mcg ivermectin / kg b.w).Divide doses greater than 10 ml between 2 injection sites to reduce occasional discomfort or site reaction
Withdrawal time:
Cattle, Goats & Camels:35 days. Sheep :42 days.
Don’t treat animal producing milk for human consumption.
Precautions:
1. As with any injection, aspect technique should be used.
2. Ivodad 1% neither used intravenously nor intramuscularly.
3. No special handling or protective clothing is necessary.
Packing:
50 ml , 100 ml glass vials in a carton pack
Storage:
Store in dry place below 30°C.Do not refrigerate.
