Pharmacological Properties

Enrofloxacin has an extensive spectrum of activity; it can be used in single and mixed infections of bacterial origin and Mycoplasmosis

Cattle, sheep.

Indications for use:

Cattle
Treatment of bovine respiratory disease associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida. Treatment of interdigital necrobacillosis.

Sheep
Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.Treatment of foot rot in sheep caused by Dichelobacter nodosus and Fusobacterium necrophorum. Treatment of acute ovine mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Mycoplasma agalactiae.

Contra-indications

Do not administer IV or IM .
Do not administer horses,donkey,goats.
Do not administer to lambs weighing less than 15 kg.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity.

5.4 Special Precautions For Use
• For veterinary use only
• This product should be administrated by veterinarian only.
• Never carry syringe loaded with tilmicosin with needle attached.
• Ensure that animals are properly restrained, including those in the vicinity
• Do not use automatic injection equipment.
• Do not work alone when use injectable tilmicosin.


In case of self-injection SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION and take the vial or the package leaflet with you. Apply a cold pack (not ice directly) to the injection site


Posology and Method of Administration

For subcutaneous injection only.
Use 10 mg tilmicosin per kg body weight (1 ml Tilmodad per 30 kg body weight).

Cattle, sheep and goat:
0.5 ml per 20 Kg of body weight by subcutaneous injection twice daily for 7 days.
In sever respiratory infections and in salmonellosis the dose should be:
1ml per 20 kg body weight by subcutaneous injection twice daily for 7 days
Rabbits, dogs and cats:
0.1 ml per 2 Kg body weight Intramuscular injection.
Birds:
0.1 ml per Kg body weight Intramuscular injection twice daily for 7 days.

Withdrawal Periods
Calves & sheep: 14 days
Milk: 84 hours.

Special Precautions for Storage
Store in dry place below 30°C, Don't refrigerate
