Composition: Each 1 ml contains:

Properties:
Diminazene aceturate is an aromatic diamidine derivative related to pentamidine, is an antiprotozoal agent effective for the treatment of diseases caused by hemoparasites; Trypanosomiasis, Piroplasmosis or Babesiosis. Antipyrine is a non-opioid agent with analgesic and antipyretic properties.
Vitamin B12 antianemic,anabolic and neuroprotector factor once absorbed is stored in the liver from where is released for the normal maturing of the red blood cells in the marrow.
Target species: Cattles, camels, horses, goats, dogs, and sheep.
Indications:
Treatment of Trypanosomiasis, Babesiosis (piroplasmosis) and mixed infections caused by trypanosomas and babesias in cattle, ovine, horses, camels and dogs.
TRYPANODAD Plus is also indicated for the control of processes with lost of immunity due to the temporal appearance of the ticks of the area and when the animals are transported from free of ticks areas to infested zones.
Dosage:
Horses,cattle, Camels, ovine and caprine:
1 ml of TRYPANODAD Plus / 25 kg of live weight (equivalent to 3 mg of Diminazene aceturate / kg of live weight).
Dogs:
1 ml of TRYPANODAD Plus / 22 kg of live weight (equivalent to 3.5 mg of Diminazene aceturate/kg of live weight.
In horses it is necessary to divide the dosage and administration between 2 or 3 different injection sites with 1 hour of interval between injections to avoid possible colic charts.
If it is necessary to repeat the treatment, it must be repeated minimum with day of separation.
Preparation:
· Administer by deep intramuscular injection (at neck or thigh muscle).If the dose is more than 10 ml, divide it into two equal doses at two different sites to avoid local pain.
Contra-indication:
· Administration to animals with hepatic and renal impairment.
· Hypersensitivity to diminazine or phynazone.
Over dosage:
After over dosing or repeated dosing toxic disturbances of the central nervous system may develop.
Side Effects:
· Are not common at usual dosage.
· In camels there is virtually no safety margin at above 3.5 mg dose rate.
Withdrawal Times: Meats: 28 days. Milk: 10 days..

Storage: Store in a dark and dry place, below 30°C. Don’t refrigerate.
