Composition
Each 1 g of Neocine 20% Water-Soluble Powder contains:
- Neomycin (as sulphate) – 200 mg
Neomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the aminoglycoside group. It is particularly effective against gram-negative bacteria.
Due to its poor absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, Neomycin exerts its full activity locally within the intestines, making it ideal for treatment of enteric infections. It remains stable in the presence of digestive enzymes and intestinal secretions, ensuring consistent efficacy.
Target Species
Poultry, turkeys, calves, lambs, and goats.
