Pharmacological Properties
DADMETHOPRIM is a combination of Sulphadimethoxine and Trimethoprim . Each substance individually is Bacteriostatic. The result of their synergistic combination is a bactericidal effect; this drug is valuable especially against the bacteria which constitute therapeutic problems owing to their polyresistance towards the anti-infectious agents.
Clinical Particulars:
- Target Species: Poultry calves & Rabbits.
- Indications for use: DADMETHOPRIM is indicated for treatment of affection due to sulfadimethoxine and Dadmethoprim sensitive germs that affect gastrointestinal and respiratory tract in poultry, rabbits and calves such as; Collibacillosis, Salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, Infectious Coryza and bacterial enteritis.
It is also effective in treatment of coccidiosis.
- Contra-indications: Do not administer to laying hens whose eggs are destinated for human consumption.

- Poultry: 1 g per 2 liters of drinking water daily for 5 days.
- Calves & rabbits: 1 g per 20 kg body weight daily for 5 days.
