Pharmacological Properties
Erythromycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the macrolide group. It is highly effective against Gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma, making it ideal for respiratory infections.
Doxycycline, a member of the tetracycline group, is known for its excellent absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and superior liposolubility. It penetrates bacterial cells more effectively than other tetracyclines and maintains its efficacy regardless of dietary calcium levels. Together, they provide a synergistic effect for enhanced treatment outcomes.
