- Ampicillin (as trihydrate) 200 mg

Pharmacological Properties:
Ampicillin is a broad-spectrum semi-synthetic antibiotic with the typical activity of penicillin against gram-positive bacteria. It has enhanced activity against gram-negative bacteria.
Target Species:
Poultry, calves, and lambs
Indications for Use:
- Poultry: Bacterial infections caused by both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Corynebacteria, Clostridium, E. coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Proteus, and spirochetosis.
- Calves & Lambs: Calf scour, pneumonia, calf enteritis, and septicemia due to Salmonella infections, brucellosis, contagious foot rot, and mastitis.

Dosage and Method of Administration:
- Poultry: 1 g of Ampidad per 1-2 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days.
- Calves & Lambs: 1 g of Ampidad per 10 kg body weight, twice daily in drinking water for 3-4 days (10 mg-25 mg of Ampicillin/kg body weight).

Withdrawal Period:
Animals and birds should not be slaughtered within 3 days after the last treatment.
