Composition

Each 1 ml contains:
Ciprofloxacin (as lactate monohydrate) .................. 25 mg

Pharmacological Properties

Ciprofloxacin is a third-generation quinolone antibiotic with a broad-spectrum activity. It is highly effective against a wide range of bacterial pathogens affecting poultry and young ruminants, including Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, and Chlamydia. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase, which prevents DNA replication and transcription, leading to bacterial cell death.

Target Species

Poultry, lambs, kids, and calves.

Indications for Use

Ciprodad 2.5% Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including:

• Staphylococcus spp.
• Streptococcus spp.
• Escherichia coli
• Haemophilus spp.
• Pasteurella spp.
• Klebsiella spp.
• Salmonella spp.

It is also effective against:

• Mycoplasma (CRD)
• Rickettsia
• Chlamydia

None known when used as recommended.
