Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

  • Enrofloxacin              200 mg

Pharmacological Properties

Enrofloxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic with potent, broad-spectrum activity. It is highly effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, in addition to Mycoplasma, a major cause of respiratory diseases in poultry.
Thanks to its rapid absorption and deep tissue penetration, Dadtril Forte ensures fast onset of action and sustained antibacterial effect, making it a reliable solution for acute and chronic infections.

Indications for Use

Dadtril Forte 20% is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including:

  • Respiratory tract infections (e.g. CRD in poultry caused by Mycoplasma)
  • Gastrointestinal infections
  • Septicemia and systemic bacterial diseases

It is especially effective against infections caused by:

  • Staphylococcus spp.
  • Streptococcus spp.
  • E. coli
  • Haemophilus spp.
  • Pasteurella spp.
  • Klebsiella spp.
  • Salmonella spp.

Contraindications

No known contraindications when used as directed.

Undesirable Effects

No undesirable effects reported under normal usage conditions.

Posology and Method of Administration

Poultry

  • 1 ml per 4 liters of drinking water daily, for 3 to 5 consecutive days

Young ruminants

  • 2.5 to 5 mg enrofloxacin per kg of body weight daily, for 4 days

Dogs and cats

  • 5 mg enrofloxacin per kg of body weight daily, for 4 days

Dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the infection and veterinary recommendation.

Overdose

No adverse effects have been observed with recommended doses. In case of accidental overdose, consult a veterinarian.

Withdrawal Period

Do not slaughter animals or birds for human consumption during treatment or within 5 days after the last dose.

No special precautions are necessary. However, standard hygiene practices should be followed when handling veterinary products.
