Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
- Doxycycline hydrochloride 200 mg
Pharmacological Properties
Doxydad 20% contains doxycycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the tetracycline group. It is well-known for its excellent absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, as well as its high lipid solubility, which ensures deeper and more efficient penetration into bacterial cells.
Doxycycline is more potent than earlier tetracyclines and retains its efficacy even in the presence of calcium in feed, making it a reliable choice for treating systemic and localized infections in animals.

Indications for Use
Doxydad 20% Oral Solution is recommended for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of infections:
In poultry:
- Chronic respiratory disease (CRD)
- Complicated CRD (CCRD)
- Airsacculitis
- Sinusitis
- Synovitis
- Colibacillosis
- Salmonellosis
- Fowl cholera
- Fowl coryza
- Omphalitis
- Yolk sac infections
- Staphylococcosis
In young ruminants:
- Bacterial enteritis
- Pneumonia and bronchopneumonia
- Anthrax
- Brucellosis
Additionally, the product helps minimize the impact of stress caused by vaccination, transport, and environmental changes.
Contraindications
- Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
- Do not administer to animals with liver dysfunction.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been observed under recommended conditions.
Posology and Method of Administration
Poultry:
- 1 ml per 2 liters of drinking water daily for 3–5 consecutive days
Young ruminants and other animals:
- 10 mg doxycycline per kg of body weight daily for 3–5 days
(equivalent to 0.5 ml of Doxydad 20% Oral Solution per 10 kg body weight)
Overdose
Overdose may cause digestive disturbances such as diarrhea or reduced feed intake.
Withdrawal Period
- Do not slaughter treated animals for human consumption within 7 days from the last treatment.
- Do not use during the treatment period.

No specific precautions required. However, general hygiene practices are advised.

- Store in a dry, dark place below 30°C.
- Do not refrigerate.
- Keep out of reach of children.
