Pharmacological Properties
Erythromycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the macrolide group. It is highly effective against gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma species. Its mechanism of action involves the inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis, making it ideal for controlling respiratory and systemic bacterial infections in poultry.

Indications for Use
Erythrodad 35% Water-Soluble Powder is used for the prevention and treatment of bacterial infections in poultry, especially:
- Mycoplasma infections (chronic respiratory disease – CRD)
- Infections caused by gram-positive bacteria
- Infectious coryza
Contraindications
None known when used as directed.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported under normal use.
Posology and Method of Administration
Administer via drinking water.
Poultry: 1 g per 2–3 liters of drinking water daily for 4–5 consecutive days.
Overdose
No known risks associated with overdose under normal conditions of use.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat: 3 days
- Eggs: 6 days
