Composition

Each 1 g contains:

• Doxycycline hydrochloride – 300 mg
• Tylosin (as tartrate) – 200 mg

Pharmacological Properties

Tylo-Dad-Dox Forte combines two powerful, broad-spectrum antibiotics with complementary mechanisms:

• Doxycycline, from the tetracycline group, is highly lipophilic, allowing excellent absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and deep penetration into body tissues. It maintains its efficacy even in the presence of dietary calcium.
• Tylosin, a macrolide antibiotic derived from Streptomyces fradiae, is effective against Gram-positive bacteria, Mycoplasma species, spirochetes, and select Gram-negative organisms. It is rapidly absorbed with low toxicity.

Together, they offer a synergistic effect, targeting a wide range of respiratory and systemic infections in poultry with enhanced therapeutic efficacy.

Indications for Use

Tylo-Dad-Dox Forte is indicated for the treatment of poultry affected by:

• Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum
• Chlamydia
• Rickettsia
• Other infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to the active ingredients

Its use improves flock performance, reduces mortality, and supports fast recovery during disease outbreaks.

Contraindications

• Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
• Do not administer to animals with hepatic dysfunction.

Undesirable Effects

None reported when used as directed.

Posology and Method of Administration

Poultry:
Administer 1 g per 3 liters of drinking water daily for 3 to 5 days, or as directed by a veterinarian.

Overdose

No adverse effects have been reported with overdose at recommended dosages.

Withdrawal Period

Birds should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 7 days from the last day of treatment.
