Pharmacological Properties

Iododad-P 2.8% contains povidone-iodine, a stable iodophor that gradually releases free iodine, providing a prolonged and consistent antimicrobial effect.
This formulation delivers up to 80% of its iodine in active form, ensuring strong and broad-spectrum activity against:

• Gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria
• Fungi
• Viruses
• Protozoa
• Yeasts

Thanks to its non-irritant nature, it is ideal for frequent use in various veterinary hygiene and disinfection procedures.

Target Species

• All animal species
• Also recommended for disinfecting equipment, surfaces, cages, surgical tools, drinking water, skin, wounds, and hands.

Indications for Use

Iododad-P 2.8% is a versatile and powerful disinfectant, effective against a wide range of pathogens.
It is recommended for:

• Foot and mouth disease
• Newcastle disease
• Tuberculosis
• Anthrax, brucellosis, glanders, and contagious pleuropneumonia
• General cleaning and disinfection of barns, utensils, and surfaces
• Disinfection of drinking water
• Fogging for air and environment sanitation
• Cleaning and disinfection of hands, skin, and wounds
• Hygiene protocols in mastitis control programs (e.g., udder washing and teat dipping)
