Pharmacological Properties

Iododad-P 2.5% contains povidone-iodine, a stable iodophor complex that gradually releases free iodine, providing a prolonged and consistent antimicrobial effect. It delivers up to 80% of its iodine content in an active form, offering broad-spectrum efficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, and yeasts.
The solution is non-irritant and safe for repeated use in various veterinary hygiene protocols.

Target Species

• All animal species
• Also suitable for disinfecting surfaces, equipment, cages, surgical tools, drinking water, skin, wounds, and hands.

Indications for Use

Iododad-P 2.5% is a fast-acting, non-irritant disinfectant with high efficacy against:

• Bacteria
• Viruses (e.g., Newcastle disease, Infectious Bronchitis, Avian Influenza)
• Fungi and yeasts
• Parasites

Recommended in the following cases:

• Foot and mouth disease
• Foot rot in sheep
• Ringworm in cattle
• Mastitis control programs (udder washing before milking and teat dipping after milking)
• Disinfection of animal housing, cages, and surgical equipment
