Pharmacological Properties
Amprolium is a pyrimidine derivative that works by competitively inhibiting thiamine uptake in coccidia, leading to disruption in their metabolism and growth.
It is effective against a broad range of Eimeria species, making it a reliable choice for controlling both intestinal and caecal coccidiosis.

Indications for Use
Amprodad 25% Oral Powder is indicated for the prevention and treatment of:
- Caecal and intestinal coccidiosis in poultry
- Coccidiosis in rabbits and small ruminants
Its fast action and proven efficacy make it ideal for both treatment and routine prevention programs.
Contraindications
None known under recommended usage.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported when used according to the instructions.
Posology and Method of Administration
Poultry:
- 1.2 g per 1 liter of drinking water daily for 5–7 days
Small ruminants:
- 0.6 g per 15 kg body weight daily for 5 days
Ensure adequate hydration and continuous access to medicated water during the treatment period.
Overdose
No harmful effects reported in cases of overdose under normal usage conditions.
Withdrawal Period
Do not slaughter treated animals or birds for human consumption within 3 days from the last treatment.
