Pharmacological Properties
Amprolium is a synthetic anticoccidial agent belonging to the class of pyrimidine derivatives. It acts as a structural analogue of thiamine (vitamin B1), competitively inhibiting its uptake by Eimeria spp., thereby disrupting the parasite’s metabolism and halting its development.
Amprodad 25% Oral Liquid offers broad-spectrum efficacy and a high safety margin across multiple species.

Indications for Use
Amprodad 25% Oral Liquid is indicated for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis, including:
- Caecal and intestinal coccidiosis in poultry
- Coccidiosis in rabbits
- Coccidiosis in ruminants (ruminal and intestinal forms)
Its rapid onset and flexible dosage make it an ideal choice for both treatment and metaphylaxis in various animal species.
Contraindications
No known contraindications when used as recommended.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported with proper use.
Posology and Method of Administration
Poultry and rabbits:
1 ml per 1–2 litres of drinking water daily for 5 days
Ruminants:
1–4 ml per animal per day for 5 consecutive days
Ensure consistent access to medicated water during the treatment period.
Overdose
No toxic effects have been observed when overdosed under field conditions.
Withdrawal Period
Animals and birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 3 days after the last treatment.
Special Safety Precautions for the Person Administering the Product
No special precautions are required. However, good hygiene practices should be observed.

Store in a dry place below 30°C.
