Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
Toltrazuril – 25 mg
Pharmacological Properties
Toltrazuril is a broad-spectrum anticoccidial agent from the symmetrical triazinone group. It acts on all intracellular developmental stages of Eimeria species in poultry and mammals, including schizonts, microgametes, and macrogametes.
Its unique mode of action leads to rapid cessation of coccidial development, providing effective prevention and treatment. DADCOX® 2.5% ensures minimal relapse and promotes intestinal integrity, helping animals recover quickly and maintain optimal performance.
Target Species
Poultry (broilers, layers, breeders), rabbits, lambs, and calves
Indications for Use
Dadcox 2.5% Oral Solution is indicated for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in poultry and other animals.
It is highly effective against various Eimeria species, including:
E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mitis, E. necatrix, and E. tenella.
This solution helps reduce intestinal lesions, control mortality, and support weight gain and feed efficiency.

None known when used as recommended
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported at the recommended dosage levels
Posology and Method of Administration
- Poultry:
- 25 ppm: 1 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 2 consecutive days (administered over 24 hours)
- 75 ppm: 3 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 8 hours per day for 2 consecutive days
- Other animals (rabbits, lambs, calves):
- 7 mg of toltrazuril per kg of body weight, administered orally
Overdose
No specific adverse effects have been observed in case of overdose
Withdrawal Period
Animals and birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 8 days from the last treatment
