Pharmacological Properties
New Coccidia Heal Powder is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and anticoccidial agent designed for use in poultry.
Its active ingredient, sulfaclozine, acts by competitively inhibiting para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), an essential precursor of folic acid in both protozoa and bacteria. This inhibition disrupts DNA synthesis, effectively stopping the proliferation of Eimeria species and various bacterial pathogens.

Indications for Use
New Coccidia Heal Powder is indicated for the treatment of:
- Coccidiosis in poultry caused by Eimeria spp.
- Fowl typhoid caused by Salmonella gallinarum
- Fowl cholera caused by Pasteurella multocida
This product provides fast-acting and effective support during disease outbreaks and is ideal for integration into poultry health programs.
Contraindications
None known when used as recommended.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects are reported at the recommended dosages.
Special Precautions for Use
- Always prepare fresh medicated drinking water daily.
- Avoid underdosing: sick birds may reduce water intake.
- Avoid overdosing: in hot weather, birds may drink excessive amounts of water.
- Ensure uniform mixing and availability of water during treatment.
Posology and Method of Administration
For coccidiosis in poultry:
- 1 g per liter of drinking water for 3 consecutive days
- Repeat after a 2-day break, if needed
For coccidiosis caused by E. tenella or E. necatrix:
- 1.5–2 g per liter of drinking water for 3 consecutive days
- Repeat after a 2-day break, if necessary
For fowl cholera and typhoid:
- 1–2 g per liter of drinking water for at least 5 consecutive days
Overdose
No specific signs of toxicity reported at recommended usage levels.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat: 7 days
- Eggs: 3 days
