Pharmacological Properties

Vitamin E is a key fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cellular membranes from oxidative damage, supports vascular health, and plays a crucial role in muscular and reproductive function.
Selenium, as sodium selenite, is vital for cellular respiration and antioxidant defense. It helps prevent tissue damage and nutritional muscular dystrophy.
When combined, vitamin E enhances the efficacy of selenium, creating a synergistic effect that optimizes health and productivity.

Indications for Use

In poultry:

• Prevention and treatment of Crazy Chick Disease (avian encephalomalacia), characterized by ataxia, spasms, and loss of coordination
• Management of exudative diathesis due to capillary fragility
• Support for nutritional muscular dystrophy (white muscle disease), seen as degeneration of breast and leg muscles
• Enhancement of reproductive performance in hens and fertility in males
• Boosting resistance to stress and disease, especially in hot climates or during production stress

In ruminants and foals:

• Prevention and treatment of muscular dystrophy
• Supportive therapy in cases of weakness, stress, or poor performance

Undesirable Effects

No adverse effects reported when used according to directions.

Posology and Method of Administration

Poultry:

• 1 g per 2–4 liters of drinking water daily for 4–5 days

Calves, foals, and ewes:

• 1–5 g per head daily for 3–4 days

Dosage may be adjusted by a veterinarian according to the animal’s condition.
