Pharmacological Properties

Vitamin E acts as a potent fat-soluble antioxidant, essential for protecting cellular membranes and vascular integrity. It plays a key role in maintaining muscle function and immune responsiveness.
Selenium, in the form of sodium selenite, is crucial for enzymatic antioxidant defenses and supports tissue respiration. It also helps prevent nutritional muscular degeneration and hepatic necrosis.
The combination of vitamin E and selenium creates a synergistic effect, enhancing cellular protection, muscular strength, and reproductive performance.

Indications for Use

In poultry:

• Prevention and treatment of Crazy Chick Disease (avian encephalomalacia) characterized by ataxia, spasms, and loss of coordination
• Management of exudative diathesis and nutritional muscular dystrophy (white muscle disease)
• Support of reproductive efficiency in hens and fertility in males
• Enhancement of disease resistance during stress and immunosuppression

In ruminants and equines:

• Treatment of muscular dystrophy in lambs, calves, and foals
• Support in cases of hepatitis, cataracts, dermatitis, arthritis, and chronic lameness
• Useful in inflammatory muscular and joint syndromes
• Supportive care for white muscle disease across species

None known under normal usage.

Undesirable Effects

Posology and Method of Administration

Poultry:

• 1 ml per 2–4 liters of drinking water daily for 4–5 days

Calves, foals, ewes:

• 1–5 ml per head daily for 3–4 days

Dosage may be adjusted by the veterinarian according to the animal’s condition.
