Pharmacological Properties
Albenzodad Forte Suspension is a powerful anthelmintic from the benzimidazole group, designed for effective control of internal parasites in livestock.
It works by inhibiting microtubule formation in parasitic cells, disrupting essential functions and leading to parasite death.
The product is active against a wide range of gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes, and in higher doses, it also targets cestodes and adult stages of trematodes.
Target Species
Sheep, goats, cattle, and camels
Indications for Use
Albenzodad Forte Suspension is indicated for the treatment and control of:
- Gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes
- Cestodes in ruminants, especially Moniezia spp.
- Adult trematodes including Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola magna, and Dicrocoelium dendriticum
Its broad-spectrum action ensures comprehensive parasite management, improving overall animal health and productivity.
Contraindications
Do not use during early pregnancy.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported when the product is used as directed.
Posology and Method of Administration
Shake well before use.
Administer orally based on the animal’s body weight:
Sheep and goats
- General deworming: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight
- For trematodes: 1.5 ml per 10 kg body weight
Cattle
- General deworming: 7.5 ml per 50 kg body weight
- For trematodes: 10 ml per 50 kg body weight
Camels
- 1.5 ml per 10 kg body weight

Overdose
No signs of overdose have been observed at the recommended dosages.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat
- Cattle: 14 days
- Sheep: 4 days
- Milk
- Cows: 2.5 days
- Ewes: 3 days
