Pharmacological Properties
Fenbenzodad 22.2% Granules is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic that eliminates both mature and immature stages of gastrointestinal and respiratory parasites in livestock. Fenbendazole works by disrupting the microtubule structure of parasite cells, impairing essential cellular functions, and ultimately causing parasite death.
The granules are odorless and tasteless, ensuring easy acceptance when mixed with feed. No fasting is required before or after administration, making the treatment process stress-free for both animals and handlers. Re-treatment may be necessary in cases of reinfection.

Indications for Use
Fenbenzodad 22.2% Granules is indicated for the treatment and control of parasitic infections caused by susceptible gastrointestinal and lungworms:
- In cattle: Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Oesophagostomum, Dictyocaulus, and Moniezia.
- In horses: Large and small strongyles including Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris, Cyathostomum, Cylicocyclus, Cylicostephanus, Triodontophorus spp., and Oxyuris equi.
- In sheep: Effective against a wide range of susceptible gastrointestinal parasites.
Contraindications
No known contraindications at the recommended dosage.
Undesirable Effects
None observed at normal therapeutic doses.
Posology and Method of Administration
Administer orally by mixing with feed:
- Horses: 7.5 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight, once daily for 5 consecutive days
- Cattle: 7.5 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight, once daily for 5 consecutive days
- Sheep: 5 mg fenbendazole per kg body weight, once daily for 3 consecutive days
Ensure accurate dosing based on body weight for optimal results.
Overdose
No adverse effects have been reported at standard therapeutic doses.
Withdrawal Period
- Meat: 8 days
- Milk: No withdrawal period required
