- Magnesium sulphate – 90 g
- Sodium carbonate – 10 g
- Nux vomica – 1 g

Water-soluble powder for oral administration
Pharmacological Properties
Magnesium salts act as osmotic laxatives. They are minimally absorbed in the digestive tract and work by drawing water into the intestinal lumen, promoting bowel distension and stimulating peristalsis.
- In monogastric animals such as horses, the laxative effect appears within 3–8 hours.
- In ruminants, the effect is observed after 12–18 hours.
- Nux vomica enhances digestive activity and promotes intestinal motility.
- Magnesium and sodium carbonate also help neutralize gastric acidity.
