Composition

Each 1 g contains:

  • Benzyl benzoate – 50 mg
  • Salicylic acid – 20 mg
  • Sulphur – 100 mg
  • Tar – 10 mg

Pharmacological Properties

Manage Heal Ointment combines antiparasitic, antifungal, keratolytic, and soothing agents that work synergistically to treat skin infections caused by mites and fungi.

  • Benzyl benzoate is a powerful acaricide that kills mange mites.
  • Sulphur and salicylic acid promote exfoliation, reduce inflammation, and eliminate pathogens.
  • Tar helps reduce itching and promotes skin recovery.
    This combination makes the ointment highly effective against mange, ringworm, eczema, and other skin afflictions in farm animals.

Target Species

Cattle, camels, horses, sheep, and goats.

Indications for Use

Manage Heal Ointment is indicated for:

  • Treatment of all types of mange and mite infestations in livestock.
  • Management of ringworm and fungal skin infections, especially when accompanied by parasitic dermatitis.

Contraindications

None known when used as directed.

Undesirable Effects

No adverse effects have been reported.

Posology and Method of Administration

For topical use only:

  1. Shave the hair or wool around the affected area.
  2. Wash the area with warm water and mild soap.
  3. Dry thoroughly.
  4. Gently remove skin scales using a blunt, sterile object.
  5. Apply a sufficient amount of the ointment directly to the affected area.
  6. Massage gently until absorbed.
  7. Repeat once daily until recovery is complete.

No known risks of overdose under normal conditions of use.

Withdrawal Period

No withdrawal period required.

  • Avoid contact with mucous membranes.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after application.
