Composition
Each bolus contains:
- Sulphadiazine – 1.583 g
- Sulphamerazine – 1.583 g
- Sulphapyridine – 1.583 g
- Streptomycin (as sulphate) – 0.250 g

Pharmacological Properties
4.S.DAD Bolus combines three potent sulphonamides with streptomycin, offering a broad-spectrum antibacterial action. This synergistic combination is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, especially in gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urogenital infections.
The formulation ensures rapid onset and sustained action, making it ideal for acute and subacute infections in ruminants.

Indications for Use
4.S.DAD Bolus is indicated for the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, particularly:
- Gastrointestinal infections (enteritis, diarrhea, bacterial overgrowth)
- Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)
- Genital tract infections (metritis, pyometra)
- Systemic bacterial infections responsive to sulphonamides and streptomycin
Contraindications
No specific contraindications when used as directed
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects reported under normal use
Posology and Method of Administration
- Administer 1 bolus per 35 kg body weight
- Repeat once daily for 3–5 consecutive days
- The daily dose can be divided into 2–3 portions, given every 8–12 hours for improved efficacy
- Administer orally using a bolus applicator
Overdose
No cases of toxicity have been observed at recommended doses
Withdrawal Period
Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 5 days after the last treatment
