Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
Pharmaceutical Form
Sterile solution for subcutaneous injection.
Appearance: clear, colorless to slightly yellowish solution.
Pharmacological Properties
Ivodad 2% Injection contains ivermectin, a highly potent endectocide with broad-spectrum activity against both internal and external parasites.
It works by disrupting nerve transmission in parasites, causing paralysis and death. This ensures fast and effective elimination of major gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, as well as a wide range of ectoparasites.
Target Species
Cattle, sheep, goats, and camels.
Indications for Use
Ivodad 2% Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of the following:
Internal parasites:
Effective against major gastrointestinal and lung nematodes such as:
Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Dictyocaulus spp., and others.
External parasites:
Controls mange mites, sucking lice, ticks, eye worms, skin worms, and screw-worm flies.
Contraindications
- Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
- Aseptic technique must be followed during administration.
Undesirable Effects
No adverse effects have been reported when the product is used as recommended.
Special Precautions for Use
- Not for use in lactating cows and ewes producing milk for human consumption.
- Do not use in pregnant cows within 60 days before expected calving.
Posology and Method of Administration
Administer 0.5 ml per 50 kg body weight by subcutaneous injection.
Dosage should be adjusted according to the animal’s actual body weight.
Overdose
No overdose-related adverse effects have been reported.
Withdrawal Periods
- Cattle and camels: 35 days
- Sheep and goats: 42 days
(Not approved for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.)
