Composition

Each 1 ml contains:

  • Ivermectin – 10 mg
  • Vitamin B12 – 0.04 mcg

Appearance: clear, colorless to slightly yellowish solution

Pharmacological Properties

Ivodad 1% Plus combines the powerful antiparasitic action of ivermectin with the supportive metabolic and hematinic effects of vitamin B12.

  • Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent effective against both endoparasites (gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes) and ectoparasites (lice, mites, ticks, etc.).
  • Vitamin B12 plays an essential role in red blood cell formation, neurological function, and energy metabolism. Once absorbed, it is stored in the liver and supports recovery in parasitized or anemic animals.

Target Species

Cattle, sheep, goats, and camels

Indications for Use

Ivodad 1% Plus Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of the following conditions in cattle, goats, sheep, and camels:

  • Gastrointestinal and respiratory nematodes, including:
    Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Dictyocaulus spp.
  • Ectoparasites, including:
    Mange mites, sucking lice, ticks, eye worms, skin worms, and screw-worm flies

The addition of vitamin B12 helps support hematopoiesis and recovery in parasitized animals.

Contraindications

  • Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
  • Use aseptic technique during injection.

Undesirable Effects

No adverse effects have been reported when used according to the recommended dosage.

Special Precautions for Use

  • Do not use in lactating cows or ewes producing milk for human consumption.
  • Avoid use in pregnant cows during the last 60 days of gestation.

Posology and Method of Administration

Administer 1 ml per 50 kg body weight by subcutaneous injection.
In cases of heavy infestation, consult a veterinarian for potential retreatment.

Overdose

No toxic effects have been observed when administered as directed.

Withdrawal Periods

  • Cattle and camels: 35 days
  • Sheep and goats: 42 days
    (Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption.)

No special precautions are required. Standard hygiene practices should be observed.
