Appearance: clear, colorless to slightly yellowish solution.
Pharmacological Properties
Ivodad 1% Injection is a highly effective antiparasitic product based on ivermectin, which acts as a potent endectocide. It works by paralyzing and killing a wide range of internal and external parasites.
Ivermectin disrupts neurotransmission in parasites, providing rapid and sustained control of both nematodes and ectoparasites, helping improve animal health, productivity, and overall farm profitability.
Target Species
Cattle, sheep, goats, and camels.
Indications for Use
Ivodad 1% Injection is indicated for the treatment and control of major gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, as well as external parasites in cattle, sheep, goats, and camels.
Internal parasites:
Effective against:
Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Dictyocaulus spp., and other GI and lung nematodes.
External parasites:
Controls:
Mange mites, sucking lice, ticks, eye worms, skin worms, and screw-worm flies.
Contraindications
- Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly.
- Always apply aseptic technique during injection.
Undesirable Effects
No undesirable effects have been reported when used as directed.
Special Precautions for Use
- Do not use in lactating cows or ewes producing milk for human consumption.
- Avoid administration in pregnant cows during the last 60 days of gestation.
Posology and Method of Administration
Administer 1 ml per 50 kg body weight by subcutaneous injection.
Adjust dose based on actual animal weight.
Overdose
No overdose-related adverse effects have been reported.
Withdrawal Period
- Cattle and camels: 35 days
- Sheep and goats: 42 days
(Not for use in animals producing milk for human consumption.)
