Composition
Each 1 g contains:
- Doxycycline hydrochloride – 200 mg
Pharmacological Properties
Doxydad 20% is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the tetracycline group.
It features high oral bioavailability, thanks to its excellent absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. Doxycycline demonstrates superior lipid solubility, enabling deeper and more effective penetration into bacterial cells compared to other tetracyclines.
Unlike traditional tetracycline, its efficacy is not reduced by calcium levels in feed. This makes it especially effective in treating systemic, respiratory, and digestive infections caused by Mycoplasma, E. coli, Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella spp., and others.
