Pharmacological Properties
Clopidol (also known as Metichlorpindol) is a synthetic anticoccidial agent that acts during the early stages of the coccidial life cycle. It effectively inhibits the transformation of sporozoites into first-generation schizonts, thereby halting the parasite’s development before it can cause intestinal damage. Since Clopidol does not induce immunity, continuous administration is essential for sustained protection.
