Pharmacological Properties

Coccida-Heal® Powder is a synergistic combination of Sulphaquinoxaline sodium and Diaveridine hydrochloride, offering broad-spectrum anticoccidial activity against all intestinal and caecal forms of Eimeria in poultry and preruminants. The formulation is relatively non-toxic when used as recommended.

The addition of vitamin A supports epithelial tissue repair and immune function, while vitamin K₃ aids in the hepatic synthesis of clotting factors, contributing to intestinal integrity and faster recovery in affected animals.

Indications for Use

Coccida-Heal Powder is indicated for the treatment and prevention of intestinal and caecal coccidiosis in poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. necatrix, and E. maxima.
It is also effective against coccidiosis affecting pre-ruminants.

This product helps reduce intestinal damage, improve recovery, and support overall growth and productivity.

Contraindications

No specific contraindications when used as directed

Undesirable Effects

Adverse effects are rare at recommended doses.
In occasional cases, high doses of sulfonamides may cause hemorrhagic syndrome in poultry. Treatment should be stopped immediately if such symptoms are observed.

Posology and Method of Administration

• Poultry: 1 g per 1–2 liters of drinking water.
  Administer for 3 consecutive days, followed by 2 days of rest, then another 2 days of treatment.
• Pre-ruminants: 1 g per 5 kg body weight for 3 to 4 consecutive days.

Overdose

No adverse effects reported when used as directed

Withdrawal Period

Animals and birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 5 days of the last treatment
