Composition
Each 1 g contains:
- Sulphadimethoxine sodium – 100 mg
- Diaveridine hydrochloride – 50 mg
- Sulphaquinoxaline sodium – 200 mg
- Menadione Sodium bisulphite – 12.5 mg

Pharmacological Properties
Sulphdad Powder is a potent anticoccidial formulation designed to combat a broad spectrum of coccidial infections in poultry and animals. The synergistic combination of sulfonamides and diaveridine ensures rapid action and effective suppression of coccidia at various life stages. Menadione enhances therapeutic impact by correcting vitamin K deficiency associated with coccidiosis.

Poultry, rabbits, calves, lambs, dogs, cats, and other large animals
Indications for Use
Sulphdad Powder is indicated for the prevention and treatment of:
- Caecal and intestinal coccidiosis in poultry and turkeys
- Intestinal coccidiosis in calves, lambs, dogs, and cats
- Intestinal and hepatic coccidiosis in rabbits
Contraindications
None known when used as directed
Undesirable Effects
No toxic effects reported at the recommended dosage
Posology and Method of Administration
Poultry and rabbits:
- 1 g per 2 litres of drinking water
- Administer for 3 consecutive days, then pause for 2 days
- Repeat for an additional 2 days
Large animals:
- 1 g per 5 kg body weight on the first day
- Followed by 1 g per 10 kg body weight daily for the next 3–4 days
Ensure adequate hydration and consistent water consumption during treatment.
Overdose
No adverse effects reported at standard dosages.
Withdrawal Period
Animals and birds should not be slaughtered for at least 7 days after the final treatment
