PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES: Rafoxanide is a fasciolicide related to salicylanilides.
INDICATIONS: RAFOXIDAD 3% is mainly indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic liver flukes infestation in cattle, calves, Goats and sheep, it is effective in mature and immature stage of liver Flukes (Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica, Dicrocoelium dendriticum), Blood sucking nematodes (Haemonchus spp., Bunostomum spp., Trichuris spp., Oesophagostomum spp.) and Tissue invading flies larvae of (Oestrus ovis, Lucilia spp., Hypoderma spp.).
TARGET SPECIES: Cattle, Sheep, Goat.
DOSAGE: (Shake well before use)Goats, Sheep and Cattle: 2.5 ml of RAFOXIDAD 3% per 10 kg body weight (7.5 mgRafoxanide per 1 Kg body weight). The dose can be repeated 4-6 weeks for affecting maturing flukes.
CONTRA-INDICATION: Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption.
WITHDRAWAL TIME: Animals should not be slaughtered within 28 days from the last treatment.
Store in dry place below 30°C. Do not refrigerate.
