Properties: Propylene Glycol is used as an aid in the treatment of ketosis and acetonemia (pregnancy toxemia) in cattle and sheep during last stage of pregnancy.
Indications:
Keto-blocker is used for treatment of (pregnancy toxemia) ketosis and acetone mia. As ketosis arises from prenatal metabolic stress treatment with Keto-blocker may be continued until symptoms resolve or until parturition. During this time a general improvement in nutrition status is recommend. If signs of disease persist or appear in the animal, consult a veterinary surgeon.
Target species: cattle, sheep.
Dosage & administration:
Cattle : 200 ml twice daily on first day, 100 ml twice daily for the next three days.
Sheep : 100 ml daily for 4 days.
Doses should by measured accurately by decanting Keto- blocker from this container into a clean, dry, suitably sized vessel graduated in milliliters. ( For oral administration only)
Withdrawal period: Meat: zero day. Milk: zero hour.
Special warnings:
1- In case of accidental eye contact, wash eyes with plenty of clean water. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
2- In case of contact with skin remove any contaminated clothing and wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. if irritation occurs seek medical advice. 3- Ingestion: if accidentally swallowed, seek medical advice. 4- Wash hands after use.
Store in dry place belwo 30˚C, Do not refrigerate.
