• generic name: chlortetracycline hydrochloride 500 mg/bolus
• dosage form: bolus
• packaging: 20-50 bolus

Properties:

Chlortetracycline HCl is a broad spectrum antibiotic acts against gram positive bacteria as (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Corynebacterium ... etc.) and gram negative bacteria as (E.coli , Klebsiella , Proteus... etc.) as well as Mycoplasma and Rickettsia .

Indications:
Tetradad Bolus is used for the prevention and control of infectious diseases including those of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and genital systems.

Dosage:
Orally: Large animals : 5 - 10 mg Chlortetracycline /kg body weight (1 bolus per 50 - 100 Kg body weight daily for 4 - 5 days).
Preruminant: 10 - 20 mg Chlortetracycline /kg body weight (2 bolus per 25 - 50 Kg body weight daily for 4 - 5 days).
Dogs & Cats: 25 - 50 mg Chlortetracycline /kg body weight daily for 4 - 5 days .

Intrauterine:
Cattle: 1 - 2 bolus every 48 hours from parturition until the placenta sloughs naturally.
Sheeps & Goats: 0.5 - 1 bolus every 48 hours from parturition until the placenta sloughs naturally.

Withdrawal Times:
Animals should not be slaughtered within 5 days from the last treatment.

Packaging: 50 or 20 bolus in PVC Blister in a carton box.

Storage: Store in dry place, below 30°C.
