Composition

Each 1 g contains:

• Doxycycline hydrochloride ..................... 200 mg

Pharmacological Properties

Doxycycline is a potent member of the tetracycline group, known for its superior gastrointestinal absorption and high lipid solubility, enabling deeper penetration into bacterial cells. It is more effective than traditional tetracycline and remains active even in the presence of calcium in feed.

Chlortetracycline is a broad-spectrum, bacteriostatic antibiotic that rapidly diffuses throughout the body and is slowly eliminated, providing sustained antimicrobial action.

Together, they deliver a synergistic effect, targeting a wide range of bacterial pathogens with improved efficacy.

Target Species

Poultry (broilers and breeders, excluding laying hens).

Indications for Use

Dadchlorodox is indicated for the prevention and treatment of respiratory and digestive tract infections in poultry caused by pathogens sensitive to doxycycline and chlortetracycline, including:

• Mycoplasma infections
• Pasteurellosis
• Colibacillosis (E. coli)
• Necrotic enteritis

Its dual-antibiotic action makes it highly effective in managing complex infections under intensive production conditions.

Contraindications

• Not for use in ruminants.
• Do not use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Adverse Effects

No undesirable effects have been reported when used according to instructions.

Dosage and Administration

Poultry:
Administer 1 g per 2 liters of drinking water daily for 4 to 5 consecutive days.

Ensure birds have continuous access to medicated water for optimal therapeutic benefit.

Overdose

No adverse effects have been reported from overdosing under normal usage conditions.

Withdrawal Period

• Do not use poultry meat for human consumption during treatment and within 7 days after the last dose.

No special precautions are required for the person administering the product.
